Starting with the finest of hand spun wool, each row of knotting in a Belmont rug is hand tied to the warp strings on a loom with meticulous detail. Several steps of washing by hand adds a rich patina and even more luster to the already soft wool. Once sheared by hand to a plush pile, each piece is then finished with a hand whipped edge surging.
